1. Newly Discovered Da Vinci -  Salvator Mundi It has been announced after 2 years of secrecy and careful examination that the painting that was in a private gallery is a genuine Da Vinci. Once thought to be by a pupil or a later copy has been proved to be by the genius that is Leonardo Da Vinci. The painting is one in a very small list by the artist, a find of the century as the chances of finding one is very very rare indeed. It is to be shown in the up coming Da Vinci exhibition in the National Gallery, London (9 November 2011 - February 2012). Personally I can see the Da Vinci traits in the piece. The piercing gaze, the delicate features of the face and hands and the intricate ringlets of the hair.
